Elia Castangia’s first script, written while attending the Film Institute of Bologna (DAMS), was the gateway to his journey to screenplay writing and the start of a long lasting collaboration with the Italian famous director Salvatore Nocita. Imagination and a sharp sense of rhythm became his calling card, and directing and storytelling blend in a personal, cutting-edge way. He was highly sought after as a top notch documentary film director (Il Perché Non Lo So, Margherita Hack’s biopic) as well as commercial director (for top clients including Chronotech, Danone, Ferrero, Foppapedretti, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, Lenovo, Mediaset Premium, Microsoft, Samsung, Trivago, Vodafone). His unique sensitivity to every story and his actor-coaching skills landed him a key role in the upcoming branded entertainment productions, directing web series and sketch-comedies like Snooze, Il mandante, Open Space and the recent Love Snack.
No matter how old we get, who doesn’t love a good story?
